Gore Pass Road Race
R.I.P.
2003 - 2007

Seeking a new promoter and promoting club to take over Gore Pass Road Race.   We are willing to give technical and possibly financial assistance, but will not be taking on a lead roll in the race promotion.
We feel that it is time for some other large teams in Colorado to take up the Road Race Promoting Hat...

If you or your club is interested email Stephen at RoadRace@CyclingEvents.com

  • It takes 6 State Patrol Officers at a cost of around $4,000.
  • Usual Rider turnout is around 300.  At $35 an entry we lost money last year.
  • New Promoter would have to raise entry to around $45 or find a cash sponsor to break even.
  • Could be back...
    If somebody comes forward....

In the mountains of Northern Colorado.
